After becoming a big fan two years ago, I gladly welcomed the new season of 24 tonight, after missing all of last year due to the writers strike. Now Monday nights have good TV again.
Jack, do whatever it takes to protect our country!
This guy is impressive. He can hit anything with a simple homemade slingshot and rock. Thanks for sending Dobbs.
I wish Bama would hire me as their “bring you down to earth coach” because I would have had them believing that they better prepare more for Utah than any other team they’d played this season. I am positive and hopeful, but also a realist.
I have been looking forward to the Sugar Bowl since it was announced and hate to see football season go, but after last night’s mauling, I’m left dazed and confused–but not completely because I always try to keep my expectations somewhat low for bama.
I’ve said all along that Utah was a great team and could beat us. Very few believed me. Well, there are no excuses for what happened last night. Yes, we would have done better with Andre Smith, but the Tide wasn’t focused. They lacked intensity and clearly didn’t take Utah seriously. I believe that no matter who you play, you must take them seriously (unless we’re playing a high school team). We all know I’m a huge, loyal, Alabama fan, but I feel after last night that Utah can now say “screw all you who thought we didn’t deserve to be here and play with the big boys.” I know I’d feel that way.
We played horribly, and Utah played almost flawlessly. Congrats to all my friends and family who are Utah fans. And I hope Alabama players and coaches ache over this one until spring practice because they didn’t show us anything last night (except for a great punt return by Arenas) and let a lot of people down. Roll Tide!
As a Wii owner and proponent for two years, I could never admit going to the hospital from playing it. In fact, if I ever do, I will be making some drastic lifestyle changes. These people are in extreme bad shape if they pull or strain muscles while playing.
Here’s the article.
I’m just glad this isn’t about anyone I know, but you’ve got to read this story. I love how it starts out, “a 33-year-old who still lives with his parents…”. He doesn’t need a woman because he made one that will never get tired.

If you want some comic relief for the day, read this. Joseph, you’ll love this one.
I saw a pilot with this sticker on his luggage this past weekend in Dallas and complimented him on it. I’ve been tired of the sensitivity about Christmas for several years now. I will never be hesitant to say Merry Christmas. Interesting fact about me: if I know of a store that will not allow their employees to say this phrase, I try my best to avoid them.
We are going to the Rockette’s tonight and are looking forward to the show. Merry Christmas.
Even though Thanksgiving dinner was great, we still have the Alabama/Auburn game to look forward to this Saturday. Roz and I will spend one more game day on campus taking in the atmosphere and eating Big Bad Wolves BBQ.
Interesting fact about Iron Bowl history: it was dormant from 1907-1948 for a few reasons. Some say it was from violence and dirty play and others say it was contracts and Auburn wanted an unbiased ‘northern man’ to officiate.
I know this may be old to some, but it is hilarious. Maybe listen with some caution.
I still laugh when I think about this one. And remember, he’s the only one in that room responsible enough to carry that gun. At least he stayed calm afterwards.
