I’ve always appreciated and respected the farmers of our country. I developed this mainly by driving many times from Alabama to Kansas City, MO. There is a lot of farmland between here and there. I think the farmers have been forgotten about for a long time from the government–making it harder and harder to have a farm, and to make a profit.
This situation that Hannity is covering in CA is shocking. How can the government cut off water because some fish are being poisoned? It’s not terribly surprising since animals are increasingly getting more and more rights than humans. This is so baffeling, and also laughable because I’m sure 50 years ago, no one would have though our country would come to this. The governor of CA is actually having to plead with the fed to turn the water back on. Can you believe that? I too feel that the federal government, as Arnold said, is ’screwed up’.

Got something to say?

I’ve done farm work and it’s TOUGH. Farmers work hard when it’s only Mother Nature working against them. They don’t need idiots and red tape thrown into the mix.
Hey Thad!
I saw your link on Tracy’s blog so I had to come say hi.
Sorry I didn’t say more today. Stake Conference is crazy when you see people you haven’t seen in months, or years!
Too bad you didn’t get to meet my son. He’s a cutey! But he seems to get sick every time there is a Stake Conference.
It doesn’t feel like it’s been…what?…five years since I lived in Tuscaloosa…oh how the time flies by!
Maybe I’ll see you at the next one….
Later,
Kristin
