Bold, Fresh Guy
May 21, 2009
I know it’s been a long time, but honestly, what is there interesting for me to write about regularly? I will figure that out one day.
I have recently finished this book by Bill O’Reilly and loved it. There aren’t too many books that really keep my attention, but this one did. It’s basically about a man being a man; working hard for what you get, understanding that kids play hard and get hurt, it’s okay to have winners and losers in kids’ sports (so parents of tee-ballers, you can keep score–I feel strongly about this one), the sixties were not a time to brag about, friendship is important, stand for something, yada, yada. He also has some great thoughts on the whole Hurricane Katrina situation.
After reading this book and Culture Warrior, I have become much more of a fan of Mr. O.

Got something to say?

Very cool Thad, I’ve been looking for a new book to read so I’ll have to check this one out.
I really like Bill and I loved Culture Warrior. Bold Fresh is on my booklist.
