We had a great beach trip to Gulf Shores this weekend. Along with Rozlynn and me were Mark, Michael and Roz’s friend from DC, Olivia. We ate some dang good food at Lambert’s (home of throw’d rolls), LuLu’s, and Peach Park.
Last night Mark, Michael and I rode the Sky Coaster, which is my favorite thrill ride, and the ladies rode go-carts. I was disappointed to see some of them using the breaks. I never knew go-carts had breaks.
It was good to introduce Roz and Olivia to the beautiful beaches of Alabama. Hayden, Dave and JesseAnn would have been jealous since they were with us last year for this trip.
lulu’s is where i lost ethan while we were on vacation in may…gawl…just seeing that place still makes me shudder. we will probably never go there again. but glad you had a good time and were able to do some care-free activities before the wedding!
I miss beaches… I really need to leave this land locked state!
Dang… right when I started reading your post, I did get jealous!!! I wish I was there real bad!!! I think next year we should plan a trip to the beach together. I will never forget the throw’d rolls! I mean how can I when I almost was takin’ out by one in the head and our server scared me to death more than just once.
