I Nap, Therefore I Am

Remember the Seinfeld episode when Kramer tried the old da Vinci sleep technique of taking 20 minute naps every 4 hours?  He started falling asleep while standing and even on top of a girl.  It was funny.

The thought is very interesting–sleep only the amount of time your body must have in order to live and function properly.  This will save so much time for other things.  The article talks about being able to work more, but that’s not what’s on my mind unless it’s work that I enjoy doing.  How about learning a new skill, exercising, playing more NCAA Football, Wii, etc.

The writer of this article put this to the test after consulting with a few different doctors.  Some opposed it and some encouraged it.  The only person I know who may have tried this is Shiffler (aka Michael Andrew).  Mike, is this true?

This is a very interesting article.  I’ll probably never try this technique, but I’d like to know if anyone else has done it.  I should adopt this sleeping method since I stay up so late talking to Roz, and I also feel like I don’t have enough time to do all the things I want and need.  Speaking of Rozlynn, she is in the hospital here in Tuscaloosa and hopefully will be released tomorrow.  She has become very special  to me so I hope the pain and discomfort she’s in passes very soon.  I may have seen her at her worst, but that doesn’t phase me–I still love her to death.  Her mom flew in from Utah today and my sweet mom spent last night and today with her while I was at work.  God bless the good women of the world!  We had some Full Moon BBQ for supper which is always good too.

Tampa Flying the Confederate Flag

I love history and support the Sons of Confederate Veterans and their efforts to preserve some of the past that includes a pivotal point in our country’s growth.  Of course some groups and people are going to resist–nothing new.  They just need to understand the true meaning of the flag.  I should probably learn that too–actually I have a pretty good understanding of it.
