Major Select Joseph Forester

One of my brothers, Joseph, who is a Captain in the Air Force was recently selected to be promoted to Major.  He is a Staff Pediatrician at the USAF Academy caring for 1500 Air Force dependent children.  He has done TDY’s in Honduras and Bolivia, caring mostly for children.  I think he did the wise thing by working with the youngsters versus adults.
He is famous for diagnosing kids with a “leather deficiency”.  This tends to happen when the kids he is seeing are out of control and have no parental discipline.  If anyone doesn’t know what I am refering to, let me know.  I am very familiar with this term, and I had nowhere near a leather deficiency while growing up.

On another note, given the increased publicity Barack Obama and his pastor have received lately, I will probably voice my strong feelings on these two rascals soon.  I may discuss why Obama is the perfect anti-American presidential hopeful.

  1. It was more like a lumber deficiency in my house…

Leather…you don’t know the meaning of pain…how about combat boot deficiency…wheeeeeew…there is nothing better than taking a shot to the glutes by a size 10.5 vulcanized rubber standard issue, well shined, combat boot…I am clinching cheeks thinking about it!!!

  3. Hey I just realized Joseph has a site too. Tell him to email me. I can’t figure out how to leave a msg on his site. His family is so cute. Leave it to him to be out numbered in his house.HEHEHE!!

Ah, leather. How well I remember it. It’s amazing how much a soft leather strap can sting. Aubrey’s family preferred switches. Yikes. I’m looking forward to hearing your comments on Obama. I had been pulling for him in the primaries thinking he would be easier for McCain to beat, but now I’m not so sure…

  5. Forester says:

Cheyenne, yes, switches can do some damage too–especially if they’re green.
I’m not sure if I’m going to continue my comments on Obama. Believe me they are strong, as I’m sure yours are, but I don’t know if that’s the direction I want to go on this site. What do you think?
Aubrey did well in the first set of games today.

Hmm…it all depends. Does Homeland Security monitor blogs? My own blog has been pretty soft…not even mentioning politics…but certain stories and comments are causing me to consider doing a little editorializing.
