The SEC Tournament began today and Alabama played Florida. We jumped out 14-0 and ended up winning by 11. Once again Riley had a great night from behind the crimson arc. I was very impressed with how we passed the ball and played defense. We tried to give it away in the second half, which I expected, but found a way to win. This is the first time we’ve won two SEC games in a row this year.
We play Mississippi State tomorrow and are capable of beating them. I won’t get my hopes up too much, but if we play like we did tonight, we’ll advance past State.
Steven, what did you think about the game? We even made improvements from the free throw line.
Can’t believe it…
I made the comment we didn’t have a snowballs chance against Florida.
I really was surprised to see the level of intensity on the defensive end and how quickly we moved the ball without turning it over. Getting easy points in transition is what Bama needs to focus on…
Guess I was wrong…
But somehow, our ole buddy – Mark Gottfried will not let us down and we’ll see the real Bama – turning the ball over, poor free throw shooting, and slacking on defense.
Needless to say I’m ready for a change.

BTW- Did you see Ole Miss lay down on the final play of the game last night against GA?
